The PSP game, Test Drive Unlimited 2 will be a sequel to the original game for PCs. The developers intend to provide an exhibition of brilliant graphics that the game will feature in the form of early demos and video trailers. But as the game is still in its early developmental stages, there is no video trailer or playable demo available on the internet. The developers of the original game, released in September 2006, have confirmed the existence of the game in a press conference. The original game was released for Xbox 360 and PC platforms. Banking on the popularity of the game, it was later made available for PlayStation 2 and PSP consoles too. The game will be developed by Atari. Atari has already mentioned that the game development is underway and the 10th game of the Test Drive series will come to the market in early 2010.
The latest buzz about the game is that it will feature the critically acclaimed CryEngine 3. The engine has previously been used in technical masterpiece, Crysis and its sequel, Crysis 2. The engine results in brilliant graphics and real-life movements of players. The game will feature a set of licensed cars from famous companies like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi Q7, Mercedes GL, Hummer Range Rover etc. The game will be an open-end driving sim providing 1500 sq. Km. Area with streets, freeways, off-road tracks to enjoy driving on. Over 2400 different roads, dynamic weather control (foggy, rainy, stormy, etc) and different terrains are introduced to suit the environment.
