The flexible keyboard
The computer keyboard has come a long way from the initial typewriter. Today, there are all kinds of fancy keyboards in all kinds of materials, designs and for purposes. These mostly depend on the regular ‘common man’ keyboard layout to grip the market. However, although the specialized keyboards are in all kinds of layout designs and numbers of keys, the ones meant for the end consumer for ease and daily use are focusing on comfort, ergonomics, ease of use, beauty and such external, functional and features rich aspects of the keyboards. They come in all kinds if designs, colors, materials and more.
One of the recent technologies that allow for a really compact keyboard use is the flexible keyboard that is semi transparent most of the times and flexible like a sheet of rubber. These keyboards are of great use for laptops users and professionals, gamers, etc who are on the move or need to have a full fledged keyboard that can be folded and fitted in a small place when not in use. The flexible keyboards can be rolled into a small pack and carried anywhere. When the need arises, unroll the pack and spread it on the space and surface of your choice, connect it to the computer, and bingo, you have a full fledged keyboard with enough space of a standard keyboard when being used. Most of these flexible keyboards are of rubber and such materials and the surface is moulded such that it is water proof. These keyboards are an option for those on the move.
